Required Qualifications • 12+ years of progressive experience in network engineering/architecture, including enterprise SD-WAN and complex routing/switching. • CCNP (Security or Enterprise) or equivalent depth of hands-on expertise. • Extensive, hands-on Fortinet experience (policy design, IPS/AV, SSL inspection, IPSec remote-access/site-to-site, SD-WAN health checks). • Advanced Cisco CLI proficiency; strong knowledge of EIGRP/OSPF/BGP/MPLS; L2/L3 (802.1Q, STP/RSTP, EtherChannel), ACLs, QoS, VXLAN, DNS/DHCP; TCP/IP/UDP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S, SIP/RTP. • Familiarity with RADIUS/PKI, certificates, and secure remote access (IPSec, L2TP). • Demonstrated troubleshooting capability and a methodical approach to change execution and incident handling. • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce rigorous documentation. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Cisco WLAN operations and Cisco ISE policy/AAA. • Familiarity with ITIL practices and governance. • Experience in public-sector or regulated environments. Additional Information • Work arrangement: Remote (U.S.), with occasional after-hours support during planned change windows. • Eligibility: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
