Please note that candidates outside the Chicago, IL area are eligible for remote based employment.Senior Brand Strategist The Senior Brand Strategist will support strategic execution across SPINS' manufacturer relationships, driving scalable client growth while advancing operational excellence and sales enablement. Sitting at the intersection of client strategy, thought leadership, and internal process development, this role brings a hybrid of insight, execution, and storytelling to help clients understand and act on opportunities for growth. This individual will play a critical role in standardizing repeatable processes like RFPs, creating sales enablement materials, and delivering insights that shape how SPINS partners with emerging and growing CPG brands. The strategist will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives with the SG&E team and take on high-impact internal and external presentation opportunities. As SPINS continues to evolve, this role is foundational in scaling our expertise with efficiency and impact. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Manage a portfolio of manufacturer accounts, acting as a strategic advisor and insights translator for growing brands • Partner with Sales to identify whitespace opportunities and support pitching with insight-backed narratives • Develop and implement a repeatable RFP process that aligns with SPINS' capabilities and client needs • Create and maintain a suite of accessible, high-impact sales enablement materials and pitch assets • Deliver compelling, executive-ready presentations that synthesize data and market dynamics into actionable guidance • Onboard and support direct reports, ensuring consistent team delivery, knowledge transfer, and development • Contribute to internal operational excellence initiatives that improve delivery consistency and strategic clarity • Lead and contribute to the development of thought leadership content and strategic frameworks, bringing forward original insights that elevate SPINS’ perspective in the market. Directional Time Allocation & Cadence • 40% – Client & executive-facing work: delivering insights, facilitating strategic discussions • 25% – Sales & internal collaboration: aligning on pre-sales strategy • 20% – Content development: building sales materials, toolkits, frameworks • 15% – Team development and enablement: guiding and supporting new team members Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in brand strategy, consulting, consumer insights, or category/brand management • Experience supporting SMB or MM accounts, preferably within CPG • Familiarity with SPINS, Nielsen, or Circana data preferred • Familiarity with SPINS product suite and how it can be leveraged across client workflows • Proven ability to synthesize data into compelling, visual narratives • Executive presence and strong written/verbal communication skills • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel • Experience building scalable processes or content libraries (RFPs, playbooks, enablement decks) • Project management skills and experience in a cross-functional team environment • Passion for the natural and wellness-oriented CPG space • Experience managing and developing direct reports Salary Range: $104,000/yr - $140,000/yr.
