About the Opportunity Our client, a fast-growing global provider of engineering and IT services, is seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to accelerate growth within the U.S. Utilities market — with a primary focus on Broadband, CATV, Telecom, Power, Water, and Gas sectors. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for a results-driven professional with strong industry relationships and a proven track record in driving business expansion within the utilities domain. About the Client Our client is a globally recognized engineering and IT solutions provider specializing in Broadband and Utility Network Design. They deliver end-to-end, scalable solutions for major U.S. utility companies and are rapidly expanding their nationwide footprint. Their services combine technical expertise, operational excellence, and innovative digital capabilities to help clients modernize critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a targeted go-to-market strategy across the U.S. Utilities landscape. Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within Broadband, Telecom, and Energy domains. Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with key decision-makers and procurement leaders. Deliver impactful sales presentations and proposals customized to client needs. Maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed revenue objectives. Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure flawless project execution and client satisfaction. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to guide business strategy. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as needed. What You Bring 7–15+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in engineering or IT services. Minimum 6 years of experience in the U.S. Utilities sector (Broadband, CATV, or Telecom preferred). Demonstrated success in winning and managing large enterprise or utility accounts. A well-established network of client and industry relationships across the utilities ecosystem. Strong communication, presentation, and contract negotiation skills. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Working knowledge of GIS, network design, or utility software platforms is an advantage. Valid U.S. work authorization (Citizenship, Green Card, or relevant work visa).
