LAND SURVEY FIELD TECHNICIAN - #O202 Posted On: 2020/2021 Description: Under the direction of the survey crew chief operator, assist in collection of survey field data, clearing of brush and areas required to give access to points and monuments on project sites. Assist in movement and maintenance of all assigned survey equipment. Perform duties connected with use of surveyor’s chain, level rod, range and prism pole, plumb bob and tripods. Perform physical tasks such as driving stakes, cutting brush, digging holes or running errands. May operate trucks or boats required to transport survey crew and equipment. May require some travel and overnight stay. Perform other duties assigned by crew chief and/or instrument technician. Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent. • Applicant must be dependable and punctual and in excellent physical condition. Willing to take direction and learn the basics of field surveying. • Experience a plus, but not required. Location: Orlando, Florida Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
