We’re partnering with a well-established, employee-owned professional services firm to hire an Accounting Manager who will play a key role in leading day-to-day accounting operations and supporting continued growth. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting leader who enjoys managing a team, improving processes, and partnering with leadership in a collaborative, project-based environment. What you’ll do: • Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and review • Oversee project accounting, revenue recognition, and WIP • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls • Partner cross-functionally with project managers and leadership to support financial decision-making • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes What we’re looking for: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience (professional services or project-based accounting a plus) • Prior leadership or supervisory experience • Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close • ERP and project accounting system experience • CPA preferred, not required Why consider this role: • Stable, employee-owned organization with a strong culture • Long-term growth and leadership visibility • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact and improve processes • Competitive compensation and full benefits including bonus structure, 401k, generous PTO
