Organization: Spartanburg Regional Foundation Location: Spartanburg, SC (Onsite) About Spartanburg Regional Foundation: Spartanburg Regional Foundation (SRF) is dedicated to supporting patients in need, fundraising for capital projects, awarding grants, and taking a leadership role in enhancing the health and wellness of the community. By leveraging grants from both private and public sectors, the Strategic Philanthropy team aims to distribute resources effectively to support the goals of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Grants Project Manager to join our Strategic Philanthropy team. This role will focus on grant writing, ensuring quality implementation, and maximizing leveraged resources to achieve the mission of Spartanburg Regional Foundation. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree • 2-4 years of data collection and overseeing capacity building efforts for adults • 2-4 years of project management experience • 2-4 years of grant writing experience Preferred Requirements: • Master’s in public health or related field • 2-4 years of training, technical assistance, and evaluation of a public health initiative • 1-3 years with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare • 2-4 years of grant writing experience in federal, state, and private sectors • Grant Writing Certification Core Job Responsibilities: Grant Writing Skills: • Oversee timelines and quality submissions for SRF. • Serve as the technical writer for healthcare priorities. • Demonstrate practical thinking, creativity, and understanding of the healthcare industry. Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills: • Identify gaps in services, support, and opportunities to achieve SRF goals. • Convene and oversee advisory committees to strategize improvements in public health outcomes. • Bridge SRF with community and school-based partners in priority areas. • Identify and report leverage points in priority areas. Problem-Solving Skills: • Ensure high-performing grants through solution-driven thinking. • Assist in Continuous Quality Improvement on designing grant programs. • Research funding opportunities aligned with the strategic plan. Project Management Skills: • Strategically identify resources to improve health and wellbeing. • Oversee grant management responsibilities for performance and accountability. • Ensure successful grant management and project deliverables. • Assist with reporting and data collection for high-quality reporting to funders and the community. Organizational and Communication Skills: • Assist with events and storytelling of strategic philanthropy. • Develop and define capacity-building opportunities for priority areas. • Communicate efficiently with funders, grantees, hospital, and community stakeholders. Aiding the SRF Development Team: • Collaborate with the development team on various initiatives. Other Duties: • Perform other duties as assigned.
