We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Service Technician to join our growing renewable energy team. This technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing residential and commercial solar energy systems—including Tesla Powerwall, Enphase microinverters, and QTron inverters and monitoring platforms. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with a passion for clean energy and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. We will be providing a company work van along with a gas card. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair solar PV systems, including inverter replacements, connectivity issues, and monitoring system updates. • Perform routine service calls and preventative maintenance on Tesla, Enphase, and QTron systems. • Test system components to ensure functionality and safety standards are met. • Communicate with homeowners or commercial clients regarding system performance and maintenance recommendations. • Maintain accurate service records and update work orders via mobile apps or company software. • Coordinate with operations and support teams to order necessary parts and schedule service calls. • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, NEC standards, and company safety protocols. • Represent the company professionally in appearance, behavior, and communication. Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in solar installation, electrical work, or solar service/maintenance. • Experience with Tesla Powerwall, Enphase microinverters, and QTron systems preferred. • Familiarity with electrical and low-voltage troubleshooting. • Comfortable working on roofs and with ladders and safety harnesses. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude. • NABCEP certification or journeyman electrical license (preferred but not required).
