Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has teamed with a government contractor and is searching for a qualified, committed and motivated Strategic Project Manager. The PM will be a pivotal role, collaborating with Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance and Procurement teams in portfolio and property management, acquisitions and end-client operational strategies. Role Responsibilities: • Lead and manage complex projects by aligning engineering expertise with facility management objectives, including building systems and property operations. • Experience supporting Facility projects like Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical operations a strong plus. • Develop, define, and implement scopes of work that ensure compliance, efficiency, and support organizational goals. • Coordinate cross-functional teams—engineering, facilities, and stakeholders—to streamline execution, optimize resources, and enhance service delivery. • Drive proactive planning, risk mitigation, and problem-solving strategies to advance facility operations and long-term organizational success. Job Requirements: • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing large-scale projects, with a focus on business analysis, improvement initiatives, and program implementation. Technical writing experience a strong plus! • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with strong background in engineering, facilities management, or related field. • Proficiency in project management tools and systems; familiarity with MAXIMO or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
