Location: North Carolina or Virginia (field-based, regional travel) Reports to: Regional Sales Manager Employment Type: Full-Time About Us We are a leading manufacturer of drywall finishing products with a strong focus on supporting contractors and distributors across the Southeast. Our success is built on quality products, reliable service, and long-term partnerships with the trades. We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Field Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth in North Carolina and Virginia. Position Overview The Field Sales Representative will focus on jobsite and contractor engagement, promoting our joint compound and supporting products directly with drywall contractors, subcontractors, and distributors. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator in both English and Spanish, understands the construction industry, and thrives in a hands-on, relationship-driven sales role. Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage relationships with drywall contractors, subcontractors, and distributor partners across NC and VA. • Conduct jobsite visits to provide product training, demonstrations, and technical support. • Promote our joint compound products to drive adoption, usage, and loyalty in the field. • Support distributors with merchandising, sales events, and product knowledge sessions. • Identify new business opportunities, prepare sales presentations, and close deals. • Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and contractor preferences. • Provide bilingual communication and support to ensure accessibility for Spanish-speaking contractors and crews. • Maintain accurate reports on activities, pipeline, and sales results. Qualifications • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required. • 2–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in construction materials, drywall, or building products. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with contractors and jobsite crews. • Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory with significant travel. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Ability to lift and handle product samples and materials as needed (up to 50 lbs). Preferred Skills • Experience selling drywall finishing products, adhesives, or other construction consumables. • Knowledge of joint compound, tape, and finishing systems. • Existing network of contractor or distributor relationships in NC/VA. • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
