Sr. Java Developer Responsibilities In this role, you’ll develop and maintain back-end components that power both real-time APIs and batch processing systems You’ll also help streamline data access for internal users and be responsible for reviewing and troubleshooting SQL queries As a key point of contact across teams, you'll gain enterprise-wide visibility and collaborate closely with multiple development teams and business units If you're passionate about backend development, solving complex problems, and working in a collaborative environment with leadership opportunities, we encourage you to apply Develop and support Java-based backend applications with a focus on performance and reliability Maintain and enhance real-time API and batch processing components Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve access to member data Troubleshoot, optimize, and write SQL queries and stored procedures Act as a technical point of contact for internal teams across the organization Required Skills: API Gateway (no specific product, but Kong Konnect or Apigee would be a plus) OAuth2 security framework Java/Spring boot for REST API development Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and leading architecture discussions Nice to haves would be exposure to: Redis Apache Spark, Kafka Jenkins, Kubernetes, Datadog The position is contract-to-hire
