The Front Office Associate is one of the most important positions in our office. You are the first point of contact for all of our families when they call the office and when they walk in the door. We're looking for someone friendly and outgoing who works well with a team. Bilingual is a plus! This position could be at one of three clinics (Berry Farms, Spring Hill, or Brentwood); that decision will be made with the applicant upon hire. We will take our time to find the right candidate. If you do not have experience, please do not apply. This position is full-time, Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm, and some Saturdays 8 am - 12 pm. You may be asked to stay for late patients occasionally. We do offer a benefit package with PTO time, Paid Holidays, and Insurance. 401K option is available after 90 days as well. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Greeting and initializing the patient care process • Verifying & updating all demographics and insurance information • Collecting co-pays and outstanding balances while explaining amount due • Entering & Communicating data into Electronic Records Management system • Managing incoming phone calls and messages in a prompt, courteous and professional manner • Scheduling and confirming appointments • Assists with the inventory and maintenance of business office supplies • Completes daily balancing reports • Marketing practice & providers during events throughout the year • Completing medical record requests in a timely manner • Completing Electronic Medical Record daily tasks and Patient Portal requests • Complies with HIPAA & OSHA regulations QUALIFICATIONS: • Exceptional communication and customer service skills • Knowledge of insurance plans and medical terminology • Has the ability to prioritize assignments in a busy environment • Previous experience with Patient Centered Medical Home, Electronic Medical Records, Office Practicum experience is a plus • Proficient user of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook • High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
