Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities Reporting to the VP-Population Health, responsible for system-wide health equity strategy and programming. Lead efforts to overhaul demographic data collection and training to advance health equity, deep partnerships with the Epic team, ambulatory and hospital departments, and HR-organizational capability. Leverage data to identify disparities, design interventions, support implementation, monitoring, and program evaluation. Represent Southcoast in a variety of external settings, such as local, state, and national health equity collaboratives, panels, and conferences. Direct oversight of the New Beginnings Moms Do Care program. Primary equity liaison for payers, MassHealth, and CMS with responsibility for all equity deliverables and reporting. Develop relationships to ensure a community-driven approach to equity and inform the organization's Community Benefits strategy. Oversee equity-related grants, seek out additional funding sources. Ensure that metrics for population health are reported in a manner to drive health equity. Regularly update governing bodies, committees, and senior leadership on the status of equity initiatives. Creation and support operational workflows and maintaining up-to-date awareness of relevant regulatory, policy, or payer changes directly or indirectly related to equity. Qualifications A Master's Degree in Health Care, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of assigned specialty inpatient, outpatient, clinical and administrative services, management information systems, financial principles including the ability to prepare and interpret budgets and financial reports, development of business plans for services and capital equipment, and regulatory and reimbursement issues required. A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years management and supervisory experience including payer, care center and/or practice operations and administrative experience is required. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range USD $106,600.00 - USD $179,212.80 /Yr.
