Develop and maintain financial models, create forecasts and budgets, analyze variances, and support process improvements with automation and AI.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant experience, proficiency in MS Office and Excel, experience with analytics platforms, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
Job Description: • Assist in developing and maintaining financial models that support short-term and long-term business decisions • Create and maintain monthly forecasts and annual budgets, and perform comparative variance analysis against those benchmarks, including tracking operational performance and explaining drivers of variances • Partner with business leaders, affiliates, and/or consultants to understand economic drivers of the business and growth prospects to better inform the modeling/forecast process • Analyze key contracts and incorporate relevant aspects into financial models • Identify and implement scalable business process improvements, with a focus on automation and AI integration. • Assist in researching, evaluating, and implementing AI tools and technologies relevant to financial planning and analysis. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or; Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience. • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. • Must be within a commutable distance to Folsom, NJ to attend important meetings and events as needed. • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types/levels of audiences required. • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) required, and with advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, R) is desirable. • Experience supporting process improvement, automation, or AI initiatives in FP&A or related finance functions is preferred. • Familiarity with data analytics, automation tools, or AI-powered financial solutions is a plus. • Ability to absorb, interpret, and communicate information, both financial and non-financial required.
