The Role This person will play a key role in helping us better understand local market conditions, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Their main focus will be on researching regional waste and recycling service providers, collecting publicly available information, and organizing findings into internal reports and databases to help guide strategy and pricing decisions. What You’ll Be Doing • Conduct online research into regional service providers, market dynamics, and customer offerings. • Compile, verify, and maintain datasets related to services, pricing structures, and geographic coverage. • Assist the team with competitive benchmarking and recurring market analysis projects. • Support the sales and strategy teams with data-driven insights to help shape growth plans. The Qualifications You Need • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets. • Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with businesses to clarify service-related details when needed. • Curious and proactive in identifying patterns, gaps, and strategic opportunities in the market. Compensation • Hourly pay with growth potential up to $50,000/year upon full-time transition. • 3 Month Contact • Hours range from 20 to 30 a week. • Contract-to-hire structure offers flexibility and a path to long-term employment based on results.
