Job Title: PLM Business Analyst / Functional Tester Location: Austin, TX (Remote) Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time (adjust as needed) Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented PLM Business Analyst / Functional Tester with extensive experience in PLM implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating software functionality, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements, and supporting high-quality PLM solutions. Key Responsibilities • Analyze business and functional requirements to develop detailed test cases and test scripts • Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, and system integration test plans • Identify, document, track, and manage software defects through resolution • Collaborate closely with development and business teams to ensure timely defect resolution • Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Document test results and prepare detailed test summary reports • Ensure compliance with QA standards, processes, and best practices • Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and documentation Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 10+ years of experience as a Functional Tester or QA Analyst • Extensive experience working on PLM projects • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and effective test cases and test scripts • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications • ISTQB or other relevant software testing certification • Experience with Teamcenter PLM • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or QTP • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
