Job Title: Information Technology Business Analyst Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Type: Fulltime Our Client is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Business / IT Analyst – Identity & Access Management (IAM) to support identity governance and access review initiatives in a compliance‑focused environment. This role is critical in managing User Access Reviews (UARs), delivering actionable insights, and supporting internal audit and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with SailPoint, data analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. What You’ll Do Identity Governance & Access Management • Adhere to organizational standards for Identity, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), and Access Management • Conduct and manage User Access Reviews (UARs) to ensure compliance with security policies and reduce risk • Utilize SailPoint to analyze access patterns, generate reports, and identify control gaps and improvement opportunities Analysis, Reporting & Compliance Support • Analyze large and complex datasets using Excel, PowerShell, JIRA, and SailPoint • Present findings, insights, and recommended actions to application teams, business stakeholders, and auditors • Support compliance initiatives aligned with regulatory and control frameworks Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement • Partner with internal teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and drive process improvements • Act as the primary point of contact for internal customers on access reviews and identity governance matters • Balance multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting quality and deadline expectations Documentation & Process Management • Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation for UAR processes, methodologies, and analysis • Support continuous improvement through well‑defined procedures and controls • Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Requirements • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with identity governance tools, preferably SailPoint Critical Skills • Strong, proven experience with User Access Reviews • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX, SOC, PCI, HIPAA, and HITRUST • Proficiency in PowerShell and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis) • High attention to detail with strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Additional Knowledge & Attributes • Solid understanding of IAM concepts and best practices • Ability to exercise sound judgment within established policies and procedures • Proactive, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented mindset • Effective team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills • Troubleshooting capability and eagerness to learn new technologies
