Director of Healthcare Strategy & Innovation Location: New York, NY, USA Seniority: Senior leadership Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year Work arrangement: Flexible; remote, hybrid, field or office schedules may be available depending on role requirements and eligibility. About the Role An opportunity is available for a senior strategy leader to drive the development, growth and performance of a national healthcare utilization management program. The role focuses on simplifying processes for eligible healthcare providers, reducing administrative burden, improving provider experience and supporting more efficient healthcare delivery. Working across clinical, operational, regulatory and technology functions, the successful candidate will shape strategic priorities, lead transformation initiatives and oversee measurable outcomes across multiple products and markets. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute the strategic vision for a national utilization management program. • Identify innovative ways to simplify provider interactions, reduce administrative burden and improve healthcare delivery. • Lead strategies to expand program adoption across products and markets. • Monitor performance against provider experience, operational efficiency, compliance and business-value objectives. • Track industry developments, regulatory changes and best practices in utilization management. • Collaborate with clinical, operations, regulatory and technology stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives. • Lead large-scale transformation efforts across complex, matrixed organisations. • Promote accountability, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. • Communicate strategic priorities, progress and outcomes to senior stakeholders. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. • At least seven years of experience in product development, product management or a related discipline. • Experience in product planning, development, execution and financial management. • Experience working across different market segments and product types. Preferred Experience and Skills • Demonstrated success delivering strategic initiatives with measurable business outcomes. • Experience leading large-scale transformation across matrixed organisations. • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills. • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across clinical, operational, regulatory and technology functions. • Ability to translate industry trends and emerging regulations into practical programme improvements. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary range is $134,600–$249,000, depending on qualifications, experience, education, location and other permitted factors. Additional incentives may form part of total compensation.
