ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead our product-led growth strategy at Sortly. In this role, you'll own the entire customer lifecycle—from acquisition (co-owned with growth marketing) and activation to retention and expansion—driving sustainable business growth directly through product innovation and optimization. You'll be responsible for transforming our product into our primary growth engine, designing acquisition paths, reducing friction in conversion funnels, and creating expansion triggers that drive increasing value over the customer lifetime. This is about making the product itself the most powerful driver of our business growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own Growth Metrics End-to-End Take direct ownership of activation, retention, and expansion metrics. Develop and maintain a relentless focus on controllable product growth input metrics such as trial starts, conversion rates, time to value, and expansion triggers. Conduct rigorous analysis connecting product changes to business outcomes with clear attribution. Build product-led growth loops Design self-service onboarding experiences that minimize friction and maximize activation. Create viral mechanisms and network effects that drive organic user acquisition. Develop pricing and packaging strategies that incentivize adoption, usage, and natural expansion. Identify and eliminate conversion funnel drop-off points through systematic experimentation. Drive data-driven experimentation Design and execute A/B tests on critical conversion points to continuously improve growth metrics. Build rapid hypothesis testing frameworks to validate growth opportunities with minimal investment. Leverage product analytics to identify high-value user segments and expansion opportunities. Use behavioral data to create predictive models for churn, expansion, and product-market fit. Champion growth-enabling infrastructure Partner with engineering to build technical foundations that enable fast experimentation and iteration. Advocate for instrumentation, analytics infrastructure, and experimentation platforms. Ensure product architecture supports rapid scaling as adoption grows. Lead cross-functional growth initiatives Collaborate with UX to eliminate friction in adoption, activation, and expansion paths. Work with data teams to build dashboards connecting product metrics to revenue growth. Partner with customer success to design in-product expansion paths and retention drivers.
