Virtual Account Manager As a Virtual Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and sustaining business continuity across open territories. Acting as an interim territory owner, you will maintain strong relationships with established accounts, provide product and fitting support, and ensure a seamless customer experience until a permanent Account Manager is assigned. This role requires excellent virtual communication skills, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams to drive consistent performance. Responsibilities: • Maintain and support existing accounts in assigned open territories, ensuring continuity of service and consistent product utilization• Provide training—virtual or in-person—on product fittings, fine-tuning, software, and clinical best practices• Partner closely with Inside Sales, Trainers, Regional Directors, and Key Account Managers to align on business needs and maintain territory objectives• Build and sustain strong customer relationships through active communication, needs analysis, and solution-oriented support• Ensure all customer interactions, trainings, and follow-ups are accurately documented in Salesforce and compliant with internal processes• Maintain sales performance across assigned accounts, meeting activity expectations and supporting funnel progression until territories are backfilled• Represent the brand at regional or national events as needed while completing administrative tasks such as expense reporting and compliance documentation More about you: • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or AuD preferred• Strong knowledge of hearing-instrument technology, fittings, and clinical practices with experience supporting patients independently• Excellent communication and virtual engagement skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong customer relationships• Highly organized, accountable, and action-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts across varied regions• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally within Sales, Training, Inside Sales, and Marketing teams• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office; able to document interactions with accuracy and consistency• Prior experience in hearing healthcare or business consulting, and experience fitting Phonak technology, preferred but not required A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova Don't meet all the criteria? This role's base pay range is between $95,000 - $115,000, with commission target of $43,000 with ability to overachieve. Compensation packages are based on skills, experience, and geographic location.
