We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Firewall Engineer to ensure the reliable performance of our network security services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing firewall and network-related systems to ensure continuous and secure operations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, partners, and vendors to deliver effective technical solutions and exceptional customer support. Key Responsibilities Develop in-depth knowledge of SGI’s Network Security software suites and associated technologies. Perform advanced analysis and troubleshooting of network products and applications. Assist and train partners on the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of network security products and services. Provide timely, courteous, and professional technical support via ticketing systems and phone interactions. Collaborate with team members and vendor support teams to resolve complex technical issues and deliver high-quality solutions. Diagnose, reproduce, and document defects or bugs, working closely with vendor engineering teams to ensure resolution. Contribute to the creation of training materials and technical documentation to enhance internal knowledge sharing. Act as a mentor and technical resource for team members as needed. Stay informed on emerging network security products, tools, and industry best practices, and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities. Qualifications & Experience 1–3 years of related experience in network or firewall engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
