## Key Role Overview This role drives market growth across a Massachusetts territory by promoting molecular, genetic, and pathology-based oncology testing to oncologists, pathologists, hospitals, and specialty clinics. The Oncology Sales Manager is a relationship-focused, strategic seller who builds partnerships, represents the organization at clinical meetings, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations while meeting sales and retention goals. ## Key Responsibilities - Serve as the trusted advisor and liaison for clients, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and delivering exceptional service. - Prospect, develop, and manage new and existing accounts to grow territory market share. - Meet and exceed sales goals through strategic planning, consultative selling, and account retention. - Represent the organization at tumor boards, trade shows, and medical conferences to build visibility and credibility. - Maintain regular, meaningful contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty. - Accurately track sales activities, opportunities, and client data using CRM tools. - Champion compliance by adhering to HIPAA, CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and all relevant regulatory and company policies. ## Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required). - Minimum of five (5) years of proven success in oncology, diagnostics, or healthcare sales. - Strong clinical knowledge of oncology testing and how test results drive treatment decisions. - Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets through consultative selling and strategic account management. - Proficiency using CRM tools to track sales activity and opportunities. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. ## Preferred Qualifications - Established relationships and network within the New England oncology community. - Experience presenting or participating in tumor boards and medical conferences. - Comfort working in fast-paced, competitive markets and a demonstrated focus on delivering clinical value. ## Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: Not disclosed. - Competitive compensation and incentives aligned with individual success. - Supportive and inclusive workplace; Great Place to Work certified employer. - Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization at the forefront of cancer diagnostics. ## Additional Information - Work arrangement: Location is flexible within Massachusetts. - Scheduled weekly hours: 40. - Job category: Sales. - Employer emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and commitment to diversity and equal opportunity.
