A mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting healthcare initiatives in the community, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their growing team. This is a newly created role designed to support the organization’s continued expansion and play a critical part in helping them attract and hire top nursing and healthcare talent. Responsibilities: • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts with a primary focus on healthcare roles (especially nursing). • Partner closely with department leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. • Manage job postings, review applications, and conduct initial phone screenings. • Schedule and coordinate interviews while ensuring a seamless candidate experience. • Represent the organization at career fairs, health fairs, and other community events to build a strong talent pipeline. • Proactively source candidates through creative outreach strategies and networking. • Maintain accurate candidate tracking in the ATS and ensure compliance with hiring policies and regulations. • Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve recruitment processes and identify innovative approaches to attracting talent. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in the healthcare sector. • Proven track record managing high-volume hiring. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage candidates effectively. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in ATS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. • Passion for supporting a nonprofit mission and contributing to community impact. Compensation: $70,000 - 75,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
