About the Somos Internship Program The Somos Internship Program offers students a direct line to our organization and the opportunity to accelerate their future with us. Our 2026 Summer Program features full-time, paid internships running from June 1 to August 21. This is a non-exempt role with a pay range of $28.00–$33.00 per hour. Eligibility Requirements: • This internship is remote, but candidates must reside within the United States during the program. • Applicants must be currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students in a degree-granting program at an accredited college or university. • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required. • Candidates must be available to work full time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the program, from June 1 through August 21. • Final selection is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check. Working closely with the department, the Intern will be responsible for the following tasks: • Explore and learn about Somos’ product portfolio to provide meaningful project support across key initiatives • Assist with project and program management of complex, strategic efforts that drive organizational goals • Approach each project through a strategic lens, ensuring teams remain focused on delivering measurable value • Engage and empower cross-functional team members to leverage their expertise and insights for impactful outcomes • Learn how to identify, evaluate, and prioritize ideas—curating the best concepts for implementation • Support idea curation and prioritization for the Capstone project deliverables • Collaborate with fellow interns to plan, organize, and execute the Capstone project • Provide hands-on support to cross-functional teams throughout Capstone execution • Perform additional project-related tasks as assigned Major Initiatives: • Participate in strategic initiative discussions for current and future projects • Provide support for ongoing strategic programs and processes • Collaborate with intern peers to present Sprint Planning and Sprint Demos for the Capstone project • Incorporate mentor and stakeholder feedback to ensure alignment and value delivery • Present the Intern Capstone Project alongside the intern team Qualifications & Skills: • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools • Eagerness to support a variety of project and program-related tasks • Ability to advocate for the customer perspective in cross-functional settings • Demonstrated efficiency in managing deadlines and multi-dimensional projects • Team-oriented mindset—no task is too big or too small • Highly motivated, resourceful self-starter who takes initiative and delivers results • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong collaboration and facilitation capabilities • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Passion for technology that empowers consumers Preferred Qualifications & Skills: • Currently pursuing a degree in Project or Program Management, Strategic Operations, Business Management, or Computer Engineering • Understanding of global products, product lifecycles, and customer needs • Exposure to Agile methodologies or Design Thinking practices • Experience managing technical projects using Agile principles • Familiarity with collaboration and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Mural, and Salesforce Somos does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or any other legally protected status.
