Role: Category Management & Data Associate Location: Remote Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday) Reporting to: Category Manager The Mission: Powering the Rental Lifecycle We are looking for a highly organized Category Management & Data Associate to join our rental product team. You will be the engine behind our inventory systems, ensuring that every asset—from high-end testing equipment to rental products—is accurately tracked, clearly presented online, and seamlessly processed through procurement channels. This is a role for someone who finds satisfaction in “clean data” and enjoys the logic of spreadsheet processing and inventory management. Key Responsibilities I. Systems Management & Data Entry • Asset Onboarding: Enter and update rental assets into core management systems. • Database Integrity: Audit existing entries to ensure all specifications, serial numbers, and asset details are accurate. • Order Processing: Assist with creation and entry of Orders and Purchase Orders (POs) to support supply chain flow. II. E-commerce & Web Coordination • Model Research: Conduct research on new equipment models to gather technical specifications and performance data. • Web Content Management: Publish new model webpages on the company site, ensuring accuracy and customer readiness. • Online Sales Operations: Coordinate photography and manage end-to-end posting of items on e-commerce platforms. III. Research & Analytics • Spreadsheet Processing: Organize large datasets, perform basic data research, and generate status reports for the Category Management team. • Market Tracking: Gather pricing data and model availability to inform inventory decisions. Required Skills & Experience • Detail-Oriented: Maintain a “zero-error” mindset for data entry and auditing. • Software Fluency: Comfortable navigating ERP or inventory systems (NAV, A+, SAP experience is a plus). • Excel Proficiency: Skilled with formulas, sorting, and data formatting. • English Proficiency: Strong written English for researching specifications and creating product descriptions. • Proactive Communicator: Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
