**Job Description** Assist children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities in learning and enjoying a variety of recreational activities. Activities include: cooking, crafts, fitness classes, games, and supervised trips. Position requires availability for evening and weekend shifts and involves direct, hands-on instruction and support. • *Requirements and Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required - Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (for off-site trips) - Must pass background and reference checks • *Pay and Benefits** - Hourly rate: $15.50 - Opportunities for on-the-job training in adaptive recreation - Access to professional development workshops and in-service training - Potential eligibility for Somerset County public-sector benefits (health insurance, retirement plans) • *Company Information** Somerset County Park Commission is the parks and recreation authority for Somerset County, New Jersey.
