Your role is pivotal in driving technical excellence and fostering collaboration to deliver impactful solutions that enhance patient outcomes and streamline healthcare operations. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of application engineers to achieve project goals and professional growth. - You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of healthcare software applications. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, UX design, and clinical experts to ensure solutions meet user needs. - You will establish and enforce best practices in software development and quality assurance. - You will manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize application performance and user experience. - You will stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions. - You will communicate progress and challenges effectively to stakeholders at all levels. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a leadership role. - Strong proficiency in application development frameworks and programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with healthcare IT systems and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA). - Proven ability to manage and deliver complex software projects on time and within budget. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. - Advanced degree in a relevant technical or healthcare field. - Prior experience working in a healthcare startup environment.
