Full Description

As our first engineering hire, you’ll be building the core product side-by-side with the founders. One week you might be deep in backend systems and cloud infra, the next you’ll be sitting with an insurer shaping how AI agents plug into their workflows. You’ll have massive ownership, make the critical technical calls, and help define both our product and our engineering culture from day one. What you’ll do Architect and build production systems for our AI claims agents Work across backend (Go), frontend (React), and cloud (GCP/AWS) Ship fast, iterate with customers, and own outcomes end-to-end Help shape the team, culture, and technical foundation of Solva What we’re looking for Strong experience with backend or full-stack systems in production Pragmatic about tech choices, with a bias for shipping and iteration Excited to work directly with customers in messy, real-world industries Hungry to build, own, and eventually lead in a high-responsibility environment Comfortable with the pace and demands of an early-stage startup, long hours, hard problems, and relentless focus don’t scare you, they motivate you
