Job Description Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support the movement of materials from supplier locations to project sites for PV, HV, and BESS power system construction projects. This role is responsible for managing delivery schedules, coordinating with logistics providers, and initiating shipments to ensure timely and accurate material delivery. The Logistics Specialist works closely with suppliers, buyers, and field teams to track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and maintain accurate documentation within ERP and scheduling systems. This role is essential to maintaining supply chain continuity and supporting project execution timelines. Position Responsibilities and Duties: Shipment Coordination Initiate and manage material shipments from supplier sites to project locations based on supply plans and delivery schedules. Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange transportation, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery. Monitor delivery schedules and proactively address delays or disruptions. Documentation & System Transactions Collect and process Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASNs) from suppliers. Gather and upload Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documents into scheduling and ERP systems. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of shipments and deliveries. Issue Resolution & Collaboration Collaborate with field material handling teams to confirm receipt and resolve delivery discrepancies. Support reverse logistics processes in coordination with Receiving Coordinators and suppliers. Communicate shipment status and issues to buyers, planners, and project teams. Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements: 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably in a construction or energy project environment. Strong proficiency in ERP systems and logistics platforms. Familiarity with shipping documentation such as ASNs, BOLs, and freight terms. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Knowledge of supply chain operations and best practices in logistics and transportation.
