Full Description

We're looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex digital initiatives for Life & Annuity solutions. You'll be the brains behind delivering policyholder, agent, and servicing portals from concept to launch and beyond. This will require 25% travel to office monthly. • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Life & Annuity digital initiatives, including policyholder, agent, and servicing portals, from concept through production and post-launch stabilization. • Manage cross-functional project teams spanning business stakeholders, solution architects, development, QA, vendor partners, and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. • Serve as a hybrid Project Manager and Solution Architecture partner, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards. • Successfully plan and execute implementations of vendor platforms as well as highly customized, insurer-specific solutions. • Oversee portal implementations, including configuration, customization, data integration, user experience alignment, and coordination with product and technical teams. • Drive requirements definition, solution design reviews, integration strategy, and implementation planning for core systems, policy admin systems, CRM, document management, and third-party services. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, risk registers, and dependency tracking across multiple concurrent workstreams. • Actively manage scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation while proactively identifying and mitigating delivery risks and issues. • Facilitate executive-level and steering committee communications, providing clear status reporting, decision support, and issue escalation. • Coordinate system integrations and data flows across internal platforms and external vendors, ensuring security, compliance, and performance standards are met. • Lead vendor selection, contract execution support, and ongoing vendor performance management. • Partner with business leaders to align digital transformation initiatives with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer experience goals. • Support change management activities, including stakeholder readiness, training coordination, and production rollout planning. • Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies and promote continuous improvement in delivery practices.
