Lead development of manufacturing processes, validate processes, train operators, and oversee production ramp-up.
Requires 4+ years in manufacturing leadership, experience with NPI, DFM, process validation, and managing manufacturing documentation.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; or related technical field • 4+ years of manufacturing engineering leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have experience leading manufacturing efforts for high-volume and/or high-mix technology. • Experience leading NPI in production environments. • Applied knowledge of DFM, process validation, and continuous improvement • Proficient with manufacturing documentation including management of BOMs, ECNs, and MES systems • Ability to lead engineering teams through engineering, design, and production validation testing (EVT/DVT/PVT) Responsibilities: • Lead the development of new manufacturing processes • Responsible for process validation, training operators • Guide production through the prototype phase and ramp-up to high-volume manufacturing capabilities • Responsible for capacity planning, time studies, space optimization in production environment • Collaborate with cross-functional engineers from quality and test during DfX reviews, addressing any bottlenecks or defect issues • Use reporting tools and data acquisition (MES) to monitor equipment/production lines
