Title – Personal Lines Insurance Team Leader (Yacht Specialty Group) Location – Philadelphia, PA (REMOTE) Salary - $150,000k - $225,000k (dependent upon experience) + bonus + excellent benefits package Our client, an established Top 20 P&C insurance broker is seeking to bolster their Private Client/High-Net-Worth division by adding an experienced Personal Lines Team Leader – Yacht Specialty. Position is newly created and will be fully remote. Must have 8+ years of experience working with Yachts and HNW clients. Prior management and/or team leader experience is required. Role Description This role is for the Yacht Specialty group of our High-Net-Worth Personal Lines business. As a member of the Yacht Specialty Team, your contributions will be highly valued, and you will have the opportunity to grow professionally. • Work on all sizes of accounts including large, complex accounts with large premiums and multifaceted marine coverages. • Engage with clients daily, developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. • Prepare applications, specifications, and marketing strategies for new business. • Manage the renewals of assigned clients under some supervision and approval from your supervisor. • Act as a consultant and the primary point of contact for clients. • Interact directly with clients and colleagues while developing and maintaining relationships. • Assist at all levels in the placement of new business and renewals of assigned clients with limited supervision. • Make significant contributions at every level in the expanding yacht practice. Qualifications • Extensive understanding of yacht insurance terminology and familiarity with yacht insurance coverage, policy wording, terms, and conditions. • Experience in Personal Lines/High-Net-Worth accounts is required. • Must have managed a book dedicated to yacht practice and have comprehensive knowledge of the yacht insurance market guidelines and placement criteria. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Self-confident to make sound independent decisions. • Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous, and professional manner. Requirements • Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems preferred. • Prior experience working with Yacht’s and understanding their risk. • Prior experience in a Management or Team Leader role. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
