A growing infrastructure contractor is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple underground and aerial telecom utility construction projects across the Bay Area. This role requires a local candidate with strong field leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple crews, and the discipline to handle both field and administrative responsibilities. Position Overview The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day construction operations across three active project sites. This includes supervising crews, interacting with customers, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget. Some remote work—such as paperwork, billing, and reporting will be completed from a home office. Key Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate multiple construction crews (Underground, Aerial, Boring, Splicing, OSP Telecom). • Perform customer communication, scheduling, field oversight, and office/admin tasks. • Prepare daily production reports, as-builts, closeout packages, and milestone tracking. • Order materials and work with the Project Manager to plan and coordinate job steps. • Approve crew timesheets, invoices, and project documentation. • Supervise Foremen and support employee performance evaluations and corrective actions. • Ensure adherence to company policies, code requirements, and safety compliance. • Conduct hiring and interviewing for additional field personnel as needed. • Maintain project budgets, timelines, and deliverables. • Perform site inspections and coordinate equipment requirements. • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to field staff. Requirements • Local to the Bay Area (required). • Experience managing Underground & Aerial telecom construction crews. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to handle both field management and administrative duties. • OSHA 30 certification (preferred). • Ability to work long days and significant overtime. • Valid driver’s license (company truck provided).
