A position is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a school setting in Dearborn, MI. This contract role covers the current school year and focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams • Provide tailored instruction to students with diverse learning challenges across grades K-12 • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student needs and goals • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and federal regulations • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment promoting student engagement and growth Qualifications and Experience: • Valid Special Education teaching certification • Experience working with K-12 students with special needs • Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best instructional practices • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic learning environment Location: • Dearborn, Michigan Duration: • Contract position covering the current school year (CSY) This opportunity is designed for professionals committed to making a positive impact in special education.
