A school district in the Taylor, MI area is seeking multiple full-time paraprofessionals to support K-12 students during the current school year, from September 5th through June 9th. These contract roles offer 32.5–35 hours weekly, depending on the assigned school. Candidates will provide behavioral support primarily for students with behavior plans and assist with bathroom needs as necessary. Responsibilities: • Implement behavior support strategies in line with student behavior plans. • Assist students with daily living tasks, including bathroom support. • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment. • Adapt to the needs of varied K-12 students across multiple school settings. Qualifications: • Experience working with children or young adults in educational or behavioral support roles. • Ability to follow behavior plans and respond calmly to challenging situations. • Willingness to work as part of a team and adjust to different school environments. • Completion of credentialing required; school placement determined by experience and district needs. • Strong communication skills; ability to participate in brief Zoom interviews. Location: Positions are available within the Taylor, MI area, near Detroit, Dearborn, Livonia, and surrounding communities. This opportunity allows for placement flexibility as candidates will be assigned to schools after credentialing is complete.
