The Sector Specialist will deliver advanced technical support to the Food and Beverage customer base, presenting to technical associations and accompanying sales teams on assessments. Responsibilities include performing plant audits, documenting projects, and ensuring sales teams are trained on innovations and trends.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required, along with many years of experience in the harvest/protein sector. Candidates should have advanced knowledge of meat sectors and be willing to travel extensively throughout North America.

Join our Diversey team as an Application Sector Specialist with focus on Harvest, further processing and protein. You will deliver advanced technical support to the Food and Beverage customer base of Diversey – A Solenis Company. What You'll Do Presents to Technical Associations as a technical representative of Diversey F&B. Detailed written reports required to capture the value as well as technical points of work performed. Accompany sales team on plant/customer assessments and be capable of communicating F&B value propositions as well as identifying opportunities within a prospects account to deliver such value. Applications and process troubleshooting related to all sectors within the protein (meat) industry. Perform plant audits related to chemical usage and applications, documenting CIP (Clean in Place) and OPC (Open Plant Cleaning) projects and their related sustainability impacts. Work closely with DFC (Direct Food Contact) applications and speak knowledgably about DFC chemistry, applications, and impact on shelf life. To be responsible for ensuring sales teams are properly trained and aware of business innovations, new projects, products, and applications as well as of business-related technical trends through the implementation of selected training programs. To develop and manage new and existing relations with local authorities and control bodies, Industry technical forums and business-related associations as needed. To understand market dynamics, customer needs, and areas for growth through strategic insight. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required (science, food science, chemistry, engineering, etc.) Many years of experience in the harvest/protein Sector, other food sector experience is an asset. Advanced knowledge of meat sectors (beef, pork, poultry, further processing etc..) and their processes with understanding and knowledge in Cleaning and Sanitizing using both CIP and OPC concepts Willingness to travel up to 50-75% of the time throughout North America and hold a valid driver’s license. Additionally, passport and ability to travel to Canada is also needed. Direct Food Contact (intervention) knowledge with ability to speak knowledgably to customers about various DFC chemistries, advantages, etc...
