This is a remote position. Sole Hire, LLC is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Student Services Advisor to support online education programs. This role is centered on student support, engagement, and retention, serving as a key point of contact for learners throughout their educational journey. This role is in the cannabis industry. Position Overview The Student Services Advisor provides guidance, support, and advocacy for online students from enrollment through program completion. This role focuses on helping students navigate academic processes, overcome challenges, and stay engaged and on track toward graduation. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for students, providing guidance and support throughout their program Respond to student inquiries related to course access, scheduling, policies, and general program navigation Monitor student attendance, engagement, and academic progress, and conduct proactive outreach when concerns arise Support student retention by identifying barriers to success and connecting students with appropriate resources Maintain accurate and timely student records, notes, and communications in internal systems Collaborate with academic, admissions, and career services teams to ensure a seamless student experience Assist with orientation, onboarding, and student success initiatives Uphold institutional policies and ensure compliance with documentation and reporting requirements Provide a supportive, professional, and inclusive student experience in a fully online environment Requirements Qualifications Must be willing to work in the cannabis industry (experience is a plus) Experience in student services, advising, customer support, education support, or similar student-facing roles Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in virtual and phone-based environments Ability to manage multiple student caseloads and prioritize effectively Empathy-driven, student-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills Comfort using Microsoft Office and student information or CRM systems Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Interest in education or workforce development preferred Work Environment Fully REMOTE role Student-facing position with regular phone, email, and virtual communication Schedule may include some evening availability to support online learners; flexibility/weekends as needed
