Role Description The Director Innovation Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for leading strategic innovation initiatives across Solarelle Insurance. This role involves identifying emerging market trends, customer needs, and technology opportunities to shape the company’s innovation roadmap. The director will design and oversee strategic programs, coordinate cross-functional innovation projects, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Daily activities include conducting market and data analysis, facilitating workshops and strategy sessions, managing key innovation portfolios, and advising senior leadership on new business models and product concepts. The role also requires building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, setting measurable goals for innovation, and tracking the impact of initiatives on growth, efficiency, and customer experience. Qualifications • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, market insights, and performance metrics for innovation decisions. • Proficiency in Program Management and Project Management to lead concurrent innovation initiatives from concept to execution. • Expertise in Strategic Planning to define innovation roadmaps, set priorities, and align initiatives with corporate strategy. • Consulting experience or consulting-style skills to influence stakeholders, develop business cases, and guide change across the organization. • Proven leadership experience in innovation, strategy, or transformation roles, ideally within financial services or insurance. • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage executive leadership and cross-functional teams in remote settings. • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes in a remote, multicultural environment.
