Overview Join our dynamic Homecare team as a Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and dedication will create welcoming, spotless environments for our clients. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout our facilities, ensuring every guest experience is comfortable and memorable. Your proactive approach and enthusiasm will contribute to a positive atmosphere. Duties • Perform thorough cleaning of residents rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. • Care for floors by sweeping, buffing, waxing, and applying protective coatings to ensure durability and a polished appearance. • Restock supplies. • Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, sinks, tubs, and toilets with precision. • Follow established protocols for waste disposal and linen handling to promote environmental responsibility and efficiency. • Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly. • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff alike. • Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management. • Support other team members during busy periods or when covering additional responsibilities. Qualifications • Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable; hotel experience is a strong plus. • Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques including floor care—such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors—are essential. • Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and supplies ensures efficient task completion. • Experience in custodial or housekeeping. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards across all areas. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while managing multiple priorities effectively. • Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts. • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues clearly.
