Solu Technology Partners is seeking a Java Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate has strong application development experience and can work independently on complex projects while collaborating with business and technology teams. Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microsoft Azure. • Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend solutions. • Troubleshoot, debug, test, and resolve application issues. • Support user acceptance testing and application performance. • Evaluate system integrations and dependencies between applications and platforms. • Prepare and maintain technical specifications, system documentation, and project plans. • Estimate project tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. • Coordinate development activities and help keep projects on schedule. • Provide technical guidance to other developers as needed. • Identify opportunities to improve applications, processes, and technology. • Follow development standards, security policies, risk controls, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with development, operations, business teams, and other stakeholders. Qualifications • Associate degree and 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or a combination of education and work experience totaling at least 7 years, including a minimum of 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience. • 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microsoft Azure. • Experience analyzing requirements and implementing technical solutions. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with enterprise applications and system integrations. • Knowledge of application frameworks and interconnected systems. • Experience preparing technical assessments and reviewing technical documentation. • Experience coordinating development tasks or providing technical guidance to other developers. • Ability to identify and implement improvements beyond routine application support.
