Role Overview: As a Customer Implementation Engineer at Softworld Inc, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and integration of our software products for clients. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to build and customize solutions that meet specific business needs, focusing on seamless integration and reliable performance. What You'll Do: - You will develop and maintain integration services using Python and JavaScript to support customer implementations. - You will design and build ETL-style workflows to facilitate data movement and transformation. - You will implement and manage API integrations, including authentication, webhooks, queues, and retry mechanisms. - You will collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions. - You will troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure smooth operation. - You will document integration patterns and best practices for internal and customer use. - You will work closely with product and engineering teams to provide feedback and improve integration capabilities. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in software development with strong skills in Python and JavaScript. - Proficiency in working with APIs, including RESTful services and authentication methods. - Experience with SQL and building ETL workflows. - Strong understanding of integration patterns such as webhooks, queues, retries, and idempotency. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a customer-facing technical role. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker. - Background in SaaS product implementation or support.
