Full Description

Our client, a leader in the national gas industry, is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant (production control center) to work on a contract basis. This is a remote role with an expected duration of 6 months and a potential for extension. Job Description: On a daily basis, the Administrative Assistant will support the Production control center, which is a subdepartment within the company responsible for operating a control center that has remote capabilities for gas and water systems. This role will assist the team with data management for all water ticketing that happens on water movements. Responsibilities include the following: Manages all regulatory reporting, invoicing, and cost reporting for water operations Validates and approves all vendor costs Tracks performance data for KPI measures Processes, audits, and codes vendor invoices Navigate Microsoft Office Suite Experience with billing and invoicing Data Validation: verify data in line with expectations and all exceptions are identified and corrected Excel: Ability to use excel and similar software for data management Entire MS Office Suite: ability to use Word, outlook and PowerPoint Required Skills/Experience: 1-2 years experience in an administrative assistant role required, with coding invoices and validating/correcting data in Excel highly preferred Proficient with the full MS Office Suite Strong attention to detail, ability to be thorough, and manage ones time efficiently Great sense of urgency and ability to work with minimal supervision Open Invoice Experience desired, but training can be provided for someone with otherwise strong technical skills (such as with the full Microsoft office suite) Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: From $20.25 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: Remote
