Job Summary We are seeking a Senior ERP Infrastructure & Security Engineer to own and support a mission-critical legacy financial ERP platform running on IBM AIX and enterprise database infrastructure. This role combines infrastructure engineering, enterprise security, database support, and production ERP support responsibilities. The selected candidate will ensure system stability, security compliance, and operational continuity while supporting a strategic migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). This is a hands-on role ideal for a senior-level engineer with strong AIX administration, database support, vulnerability remediation, and financial systems experience. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Security (IBM AIX + Database) • Administer and secure IBM AIX environments (patching, TL/SP upgrades, hardening) • Apply database patches, updates, and hotfixes • Monitor and remediate CVEs and vulnerability alerts • Manage OS and database access controls (RBAC) • Ensure encryption standards for data at rest and in transit • Maintain audit logging and security compliance documentation • Partner with IT Security to maintain firewall and network configurations ERP Production Support (Finance Systems) • Provide break-fix support for: • Accounts Payable (AP) • Accounts Receivable (AR) • General Ledger (GL) • Fixed Assets • Troubleshoot performance issues (slow queries, batch failures, timeouts) • Support month-end and year-end close processes • Maintain custom scripts and legacy configurations • Provide data extracts, reconciliation reports, and issue resolution Integration & Change Management • Document ERP integration points and data flows • Monitor and troubleshoot batch/integration jobs • Participate in regression testing following infrastructure changes • Ensure adherence to formal change management processes ERP Migration Support (GEAC → D365) • Document legacy data structures and workflows • Support data extraction and validation during migration • Assist with parallel-run testing and reconciliation • Support decommissioning and archival planning Required Qualifications • 7+ years of enterprise production support experience • 5+ years hands-on IBM AIX administration • Experience with OS patching, hardening, and upgrades • Database administration experience (Cobalt, Oracle, DB2, Sybase, or similar) • Experience with CVE remediation and vulnerability management • Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, database, and application layers • Experience working in structured change management environments • Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting legacy ERP or financial systems • Knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and Fixed Assets modules • Experience supporting ERP migrations • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 • Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc.) • IBM AIX certification Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour Application Question(s): • Are you willing to travel Atlanta 1 or 2 times per quarter if needed?
