Project Managers, Psychometrics Managers, and Instructional Designers Softek Services is a training and consulting firm with over 35 years of experience delivering tailored learning solutions. We are building a team to support a new federal Emergency Management and Incident Workforce Training program. Client Mission: Develop, coordinate, resource, and execute training, education, experiential learning, and qualification processes to ensure the Incident Workforce is prepared to support disaster survivors and first responders in all-hazards events. Positions Needed Emergency management and disaster field operations experience a plus. 1) Project Manager (12+ years) • Lead kickoff and weekly development meetings • Develop project schedule and required management plans (quality control, communications, risk, change) • Submit status reports and meeting minutes • Oversee a 6–8 person training development team 2) Psychometrics Manager (10+ years) • Provide expertise in measurement science and psychometrics • Lead design and validation of high-stakes training assessments • Ensure validity, reliability, and fairness of exams • Establish item counts, difficulty levels, time limits, and scoring models • Align assessments with Enabling Learning Objectives • Collaborate with program SMEs to define competency standards 3) Senior Instructional Designers (10+ years) • Transform training into performance-based, experiential curricula • Facilitate focus groups and design workshops. • Conduct needs analyses and define measurable learning objectives • Apply adult learning principles to design operationally relevant training • Collaborate with federal stakeholders and SMEs to ensure alignment with mission requirements Employment Type W2 Employee (Part-Time or Full-Time) or 1099 Independent Contractor Application Requirements • This opportunity is intended for senior-level professionals only (not entry-level or internships). • Applicants must describe three relevant commercial or government projects demonstrating subject matter expertise.
