• Role: Trusts & Estates Paralegal • Location: Northbrook, IL • Job Type: Fulltime - Onsite (5 days/week in office) • Payment Terms: Hourly payments About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support attorneys in all areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and probate. This full-time role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment. The position is based in Northbrook, IL. Key Responsibilities • Assist attorneys with estate planning, trust and estate administration, and probate matters. • Prepare probate court filings, inventories, accountings, and other related documents. • Maintain and organize client files, records, and correspondence. • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and external professionals. • Track deadlines and key dates across multiple matters to ensure timely completion of tasks. • Conduct routine research and stay current on applicable laws, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Trusts & Estates Paralegal; 4+ years preferred. • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments. • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented demeanor.
