SOFT's client located in New York, NY is looking for a Product Analyst - IT for a long term contract assignment. Qualifications: • 2+ years relevant experience as a Product Analyst or similar experience within an agile team environment. • Ability to work independently to drive forward Product initiatives. • Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style and can share technical ideas and approaches with others. • IT Cloud Infrastructure, software development process and technical software experience is preferred. • Certified Product Owner preferred. • Experience with Python is a plus. • Experience in using Jira is a plus. • Experience with GoldenSource product is a plus. Skills • Agile experience / BA or analyst • Confident communicator who collaborates with stakeholders, drives outcomes, reports progress, and escalates issues as needed • Technical-minded • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs of the Product Experience in data governance, data analytics, workflow automation (business process management) preferred Responsibilities: Responsible for working directly with business stakeholders to shape demand and strategize on opportunities, oversee the ongoing development and delivery of technology products and platforms, and ensure the achievement of business outcomes and value. Manages the life cycle of the product. Establishes and maintains relationships with key business stakeholders. Facilitates and drives alignment among key stakeholders. What you will do • Work with business and IT partners to develop inspiring product visions, derived from business needs into product roadmaps that are in alignment with business and IT strategies. • Exhibits expertise across the Statistics products’ features and able to partner seamlessly across the squads (including those in support of Treasury). • Interpret requirements, write user stories and work with technical teams, developers, business analysts, UX and internal constituents to determine the details. • Be the voice of the business customer, identifying gaps and opportunities for new capabilities, manages backlog, and prioritizing work within sprints. • Partner with Scrum master and technical teams to participate in agile ceremonies (sprint demos, retrospectives, sprint planning). • Proactively lead and collaborate with the UAT coordinator on user acceptance testing, schedules meetings, tracks progress and ensure alignment with the squad for successful releases. • Works with technology teams to respond to changing priorities and delivery requirements across multiple products or product areas. • Exhibits expertise within products’ feature areas and coordinates with interdependent teams to provide product support. • Defines, monitors, and communicates product-specific operational KPIs once a product enters production; sets and manages targets by influencing technology support services and best practices. • Promotes agile behaviors within business areas to accelerate the transition to the new operating model. • Support overall activities and responsibilities of Product Management team
