Role Overview Use your passion for service to create a positive impact and make a difference. Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a Director, Operations leader to drive survey readiness, compliance excellence, and scalable execution across a multi-site healthcare portfolio. This role serves as a trusted subject matter expert and strategic partner to field teams, senior leadership, and clients, ensuring compliant operations, reduced risk, and consistent performance aligned with Sodexo standards. The position is remote-based and may be located anywhere in the Eastern or Mid-U.S., preferably within close proximity to a major airport, due to significant travel requirements. What You'll Do Lead enterprise-wide healthcare FM regulatory compliance and survey readiness (TJC, DNV, CMS, State). Ensure sustained compliance with Physical Environment, Life Safety, and Emergency Preparedness standards. Interpret and operationalize NFPA, ASHRAE, IBC, and FGI requirements across multi-site portfolios. Govern EH&S programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and DEP regulations. Drive operational excellence through asset management, FCA guidance, and lifecycle cost optimization. Own enterprise compliance toolsets (e.g., CDX/eCDX), documentation standards, and audit readiness. Design and deliver recurring training programs for FM leaders and site teams. What You Bring 7+ years of healthcare facilities management experience within large or multi-site systems. CHFM certification preferred. Deep expertise in healthcare regulatory and life safety standards. Strong understanding of building systems, utilities, and healthcare infrastructure. Proven ability to lead compliance initiatives and reduce survey findings. Experience with CMMS platforms, enterprise tools, and Microsoft Office. Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Willingness to travel up to 70% across North America.
