Full Description

Why Socure? Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day. We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading. About the Role Socure’s rapid growth requires investment in a sophisticated launch process - one that keeps up with increasing volume, while making sure that we are continually raising the bar and working from the same page across the organization. You will build and lead a small Launch Operations team that maintains clear visibility across upcoming product launches, and keeps cross-functional teams aligned leveraging the Product Manager (PM) owned launch checklist. For a start you will be the senior IC in this role as you prove value (see what success looks like below) for the rest of the team to be staffed. For the start you will need to prioritize the most essential elements to track and report on. So PMs will continue to quarterback product strategy, narrative, and customer readiness, while you (and eventually your team) provide the operational backbone to keep major milestones on track on the launch checklist. Launches rarely fall behind because people don't know what to do; they slip because no single person owns making sure deliverables happen on time and with a clear backup plan. Your team will step in as that standing owner - not doing the launch deliverables yourselves, but guaranteeing everything is clearly assigned, dated, visible, and moving forward. Sitting within Product Strategy & Operations, you'll collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Legal, RevOps, Engineering and other teams to make execution seamless and help product launches become world class What You'll Do Run the weekly launch accountability forum Set up and run a weekly launch check-in using a leaderboard developed and driven with our Product Manager input tool Serve as the driving force in the room—spotting risks early, testing resolution plans, and keeping work moving forward without taking on the task execution yourself. Maintain a consistent accountability cadence across all launch sizes—from major PR and investor launches to smaller feature updates and multi-tier strategic initiatives. Own the launch checklist and ownership model to drive Product org accountabilities Shift the launch checklist away from PMs managing every detail to direct task ownership by functional leads (e.g., Legal handles legal approvals, PMM leads product naming, Revenue Operations manages SKU setups). Work with teammates in Product Operations to refine the checklist over time, adding or removing items as needs evolve and distinguishing true systemic gaps from one-off issues. Share clear updates and digests with partner groups (PMM, Legal, Engineering, Support, RevOps) so open items stay top of mind naturally. Keep teams aligned on execution discipline: if an item isn't assigned, dated, and visible, it isn't ready for launch. Turn systems into launch visibility Pull target launch dates directly from roadmap tools like Aha! or Jira instead of relying on manually updated spreadsheets. Establish clear criteria for when a feature enters the launch checklist process (typically 6–12 weeks before launch) and guide the initial workflow. Adapt alongside Product Operations systems and tools as we automate tracking views and mature our operational system. What Success Looks Like Executive leadership can understand the accurate status for any upcoming launch without needing to ask around for manual updates. Every item on the launch checklist is owned directly by someone in the functional team doing the work. Your team will own raising awareness and visibility early and upfront At-risk items get a clear recovery plan right away, and blockers are resolved or escalated Our launch cadence scales smoothly across major releases and new capabilities for a start; and a potential for the team to partner with other functions like Technical Project Management teams for complex multi-team initiatives. Commercial and field teams have timely, dependable visibility into launch timelines and feature availability, ideally with a rolling 90 day window view out Prove the value first as the leading senior IC, and eventually build and lead a team that focuses on tracking launch health across key strategic initiatives, working directly with owning teams, and keeping status updates accurate. What You Bring 15+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or cross-functional tech operations inside product or engineering teams. Proven experience running effective accountability rhythms (recurring reviews, status dashboards, operating cadence) that build trust and drive results through influence Demonstrated success managing or building a team of contractors and FTEs from the ground up. Comfort working with product roadmap tools (Aha!, Productboard) and issue tracking software (e.g. Jira, Linear); familiarity with spreadsheets and basic analytics is a must. Good understanding of product and software development lifecycles across different launch scales (new products vs. enhancements Strong meeting facilitation skills - able to guide discussions, align key stakeholders, and secure clear commitments. Clear written communication style that makes progress updates and key takeaways easy to digest for leadership and partner teams. Ability to establish practical, hands-on processes today while identifying opportunities to automate and scale over time. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing cross-functional go-to-market workflows across Legal, Product Marketing, Sales, Support, and Engineering. Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, or another fast-moving technology space. Experience building a team or operational function from scratch. Bonus: Familiarity with CRM systems or connecting commercial data with product planning tools. Socure is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in all its forms within our company.
