The opportunity We’re hiring a creative content producer who can lead and execute the social video creative process from first idea to final edit. You’ll develop engaging, on-brand ideas rooted in storytelling; Susie will film her own videos, and you’ll transform them into polished, visually compelling reels, stories, and carousels. You’ll have a strong instinct for the So Susie aesthetic, know how to craft titles, covers, and hooks that draw people in, and understand how to edit for watch time and conversion — all while maintaining a refined, thoughtful point of view. What you’ll do • Pitch weekly content ideas inspired by new concepts and recent blog posts, each grounded in storytelling with a clear hook, visual flow, and goal. • Create filming guides including scripts, shot lists, framing notes, B-roll ideas, wardrobe, pacing and vibe. • Edit and produce content across platforms, bringing a strong editorial eye to flow, color, sound, and crafting thoughtful titles, covers, hooks, captions and tags. • Extend content beyond social, repurposing for the blog, email, LTK, Shop my, Substack. • Review performance weekly and recommend refinements based on views, retention, saves, shares, and comments. • Keep things organized and moving, maintaining a content calendar, asset management, and efficient feedback cycles. You’ll be a great fit if you • Have a portfolio of social videos you’ve created and/or led from concept through final edit. • Bring excellent visual taste and judgment, with a refined eye for framing, color, pacing, music, and styling. • Have expertise in crafting hooks, titles, and covers, paired with clean, thoughtful editing. • Are fluent in modern editing tools, including Final Cut, CapCut (or similar), Canva, with comfort finishing and optimizing content using native platform tools. • Provide clear, confident creative direction, translating ideas into simple, actionable production plans. • Are self-motivated and results-driven, with an appreciation for high-end, thoughtful branding. • Value aesthetics and enjoy discovering new creative solutions. • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively. • Consistently deliver projects on time and on goal. • Have experience in fashion, knowledge of leading brands, and a love of great style. What does a typical week look like? • You’ll pitch, develop and deliver 2 - 3 reels, 2 - 3 carousels. • You’ll review performance to inform what’s working based on meeting creative and business goals. • You’ll continuously explore the latest tools, techniques and formats to create the most beautiful, engaging content.
