FLOOD BROTHERS COMMERCIAL MOVING COMPANY POSITION: Mover/Material Handler Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Mover and Material Handler, where your energy and dedication will drive our moving operations forward! In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our logistics team, responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting commercial goods with precision and care. JOB DUTIES • Physically Load and unload commercial furniture, equipment, and supplies using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks • Assist with the packing, unpacking, and organizing of items to ensure secure transportation and delivery • Load and secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit • Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and moves • Maintain a clean, organized workspace in the warehouse or storage areas, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained • Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, demonstrating physical strength and stamina throughout the workday RELATED EXPERIENCE • Must be able to physically lift, bend, load, and unload trucks throughout entirety of shift. *REQUIRED* • Previous warehouse experience or moving industry background preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates. • Valid Real Driver’s License or State ID *REQUIRED* • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols PHYISCAL DEMANDS • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and move around the facility. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
