We are building the next generation of consumer financial infrastructure and are looking for a product leader to help architect it. About the Role We are seeking a Fintech Product Manager who deeply understands how money is stored, moved, safeguarded, and spent and can translate that understanding into scalable, compliant product systems. You will own: • Snaplii’s next-generation wallet and balance products (Wallet 2.0) • Core payments architecture across Canada and the United States • End-to-end user money flows from funding to holding to spending and retention This is a high-impact role focused on compliance-first scale, payment cost optimization, and future-ready infrastructure, including cross-border and stablecoin-enabled payments. Key Responsibilities 1. Wallet & Balance Product Ownership (Canada & US) • Design end-to-end money flows: top-up, spend, hold, transfer, withdrawal constraints • Define reward/interest/earnings calculation logic and user transparency standards • Establish clear product boundaries within Canadian and U.S. regulatory frameworks • Define stakeholder role architecture (Snaplii vs. custodian, trust, issuer, payment partners) • Design money movement logic that improves retention, increases success rates, and supports expansion 2. Compliance-by-Design Development Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and Banking/Custody providers to embed regulatory requirements directly into product logic: • KYC/KYB and identity verification frameworks • Funds safeguarding and segregation principles • Account type restrictions and transaction limitations • Monitoring systems, exception handling, and compliance-driven UX constraints 3. North America Payments Architecture Develop deep product-level expertise across: • Pay-by-Bank / A2A / real-time payments • Card networks including Visa and Mastercard • 3DS, disputes and chargebacks, liability shift, MCC classification • Authorization behavior and settlement mechanics 4. Payment Cost Optimization & Unit Economics • Improve blended payment costs and steer users toward lower-cost rails • Reduce chargeback exposure through risk-aware product design • Design incentives balancing conversion, cost, and user experience • Build scalable decision frameworks aligning product growth with sustainable unit economics 5. Cross-Border & Future Payments Enablement (Preferred) Support Snaplii’s long-term strategy around cross-border and stablecoin-powered payments, including: • Understanding how USDC/USDT enable real-world consumer spending • Exploring Snaplii’s role as a last-mile consumer spending layer Candidates do not need to be crypto traders but should understand where stablecoins create real payment utility. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in fintech product, payments, or wallet/stored-value products • Hands-on experience building or operating wallet/payment products in Canada and/or the U.S. • Deep expertise in at least two of the following: Wallet/stored value/balance products Bank-to-bank payments (A2A, RTP, EFT, ACH) Card networks (Visa/Mastercard), disputes, risk, and chargebacks • Strong cross-functional leadership across Legal, Compliance, Banking/Custody, and PSPs • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, scalable product systems Required Experience • Experience partnering with custodian banks, trust accounts, issuers, and PSPs • Familiarity with MSB / PSP registration-driven product design • Proven track record launching compliant wallet/balance products from pilot to scale • Practical understanding of cross-border payments and stablecoin rails • Experience building 0→1 products or scaling compliance-constrained MVPs to mass adoption Additional Information • Visa Sponsorship Available (H-1B transfer/sponsorship and Green Card support where applicable) Equal Opportunity Employer Snaplii is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
